Malaysia Insurance Entrepreneurs or Malaysia Insurance Online is an information online and connectivity platform for internet-based insurance practitioners. This insurance information portal or i-iPortal aims to achieve the following:
(1) to disseminate various underlying market information to these entrepreneurs as well as practitioners with the aim of raising their awareness and improving their ability to provide basic advices to their customers. “Underlying” information simply means information that are specifically analysed, deciphered and digested by the author(s) and not the usual news that are being obtained from the press or magazines,
(2) to increase the numbers of internet-based entrepreneurs as resellers or agents within the insurance distribution channels, making it easier for customers to purchase and renew their insurances online and yet these sales are efficiently supported ”offline” by these targeted entrepreneurs, and
(3) to form a pool of internet-savvy insurance entrepreneurs or practitioners, which include agents as volunteers in enhancing the usefulness and the connectivity of this site to the cyber community.
