About Us

Malaysia Insurance Online is an information online portal and connectivity platform for internet-based insurance practitioners or entrepreneurs. This insurance information portal or i-iPortal aims to achieve the following:

(1) to disseminate various underlying market information to this category of entrepreneurs as well as practitioners with the aim of raising their awareness and improving their ability to provide basic advices to their customers online. “Underlying” information simply means information that are specifically analysed, deciphered and digested by the author(s) and not the usual news that are being obtained from the press or magazines,

(2) to increase the numbers of internet-based entrepreneurs as resellers or agents within the insurance distribution channels, making it easier for customers to purchase and renew their insurances online and yet these sales are efficiently and effectively supported ”offline” by these entrepreneurs or practitioners, and

(3) to form a pool of internet-savvy insurance entrepreneurs or practitioners, which include agents as volunteers in enhancing the usefulness and the connectivity of this site to the community of internet users. We are looking for WordPress Bloggers to test our new WordPress Plugin : Tweet & Get it !
and we think that malaysiainsurance.info is a good website to test it.

The plugin allows you to create a download button , which will hold the file you want to make available for download.
In exchange for the file the user will have to:
    1. send a tweet (priorly defined by you)
2. follow your Twitter account

If you download it, you will have a demo of what the plugin exactly does :
    http://tweetandgetit.com/download/

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you need support to install it.

Let me know what you think about it ? ;)

    Best Regards,
    Marie de Ubeda

i have purchased a policy with MMIP How do i transfer name from old owner to new owner ?
pls reply me As soon urgent

    • January 9, 2011 at 00:03

You would have to go back to the outlet (either POS, Uni.Asia or Multipurpose) where you had purchased the policy from. Tell them your intention to transfer policy rights to the new vehicle owner. They should be able to explain to you better. If you had purchased this thru an agent, please get his or her help. As far as we know, MMIP does not do endorsement to transfer the policy to another party – usually they cancel off the existing policy and then reissue a fresh one for the new owner…. but additional premium would need to be paid, if indeed there is any.

I hope this is of help to you.

Thank you for your interest shown

    • July 30, 2010 at 22:52

We are not Malaysian Motor Insurance Pool (MMIP), we are just a group of insurance practitioners / entrepreneurs setting out to provide some assistance for the buying public as well as hoping to engage the insurance practitioners. You can go to my blog page at http://www.malaysiainsurance.info/?p=2695&page=2 and check out the posting. You can also download the pdf file where there are FAQ for you. Other info that I can give to you is: You can visit Uni.Asia Insurance, Multi-Purpose Insurance or POS Malaysia to enquire about your previous policy.

You can also proceed to check this site for the NCD: https://ncd.ism.net.my/publicncdenq/index.htm
It is free, just key and you can have the NCD of your friend. If you still have problem, contact us via our site.
